About

Avi Feldman    |    Principal

With extensive experience in residential real estate, backed by degrees in finance and real estate, Avi Feldman is unique suited to helm Omek Capital.

Avi began his career as a financial analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Blau/Radler Group (now a part of UBS Financial). In 2005 he joined Van Benson Management, a large real estate management and development firm, pioneers of the loft conversion concept in Williamsburg, NY.

Joining the family real-estate business, Avi has since been involved in commercial and residential real estate development and construction. In 2006 Avi solely oversaw and managed the development of a 62-unit, 90,000 square-foot residential luxury condo development in Williamsburg, supervising crews of up to 80 workers on any given day. In 2009 Avi joined Charles Hartman to co-found Omek Capital.

Avi holds a B.S. in Finance from Touro College, and an M.S. in Real Estate from New York University’s Schack Institute.

Charles Hartman    |    Principal

Charles Hartman brings a wealth of international experience in finance to Omek Capital.

Soon after graduating from Hebron Rabbinical College with a Bachelors in Hebrew Letters, Charles Hartman joined 360 Partners LLC, a New Jersey-based hedge fund, as an intern/analyst.

In 2005 Charles joined Excim Imports and Exports, the largest textile and electronic importer in Brazil, as manager of their extensive import and investment departments. There he oversaw the finance and management of over $100 million annually.

Charles has worked as a credit analyst for Safra National Bank, analyzing credit risk of South American companies and individuals for lending purposes and managed mortgage portfolios. After earning his MBA, he joined CBM Capital, a value-oriented hedge fund with $800M assets under management, as an investment analyst. In 2009 Charles joined Avi to co-found Omek Capital.
Charles holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
